We extend sincere gratitude and our warmest welcome to six new members of the Colorado Children’s Campaign Champions’ Circle: JoAnn Beaupré, Nancy Gary, Rob Gary, Sam Gary, Tim Howard and Dave Younggren. These members join 20 other people since 2010 who have made a renewable, two-year commitment of $2,500 or more per year, ensuring the Children’s Campaign has financial flexibility to stay ahead of the issues that impact kids and ensuring that we can maintain first-class research to fight every day for programs and services we know will make the biggest impact in the lives of Colorado kids.

We look forward to gathering all Champions’ Circle members in December for a special breakfast, “Kids at the Capitol.” This final gathering of the Champions’ Circle for the year will offer an insiders’ update on our continuing school finance work and a preview of the 2013 legislative session. Special guests include Cary KennedyCo-Chair of the School Finance Partnership and Chief Financial Officer to Mayor Michael Hancock, and Alan SalazarChief Strategy Officer and Director of Policy, Research and Legislative Affairs, Office of Governor Hickenlooper. This intimate discussion will provide Champions’ Circle members the chance to hear first-hand about the challenges and opportunities for kids’ issues during the 2013 legislative session from two of the state’s foremost leaders.
