We are grateful for your commitment to Colorado kids
Thank you for your commitment to Colorado’s kids and families
This has been a difficult year. While navigating the pandemic today is different than it was 18 months ago, it has not necessarily been easier. The Children’s Campaign continues to be thankful for the resilience of Colorado kids and families, and for the resolve of our incredible network of advocates and supporters. We are so proud to continue our work to ensure every chance for every child.
We would not be able to do this work without your support.
When we return from this short but invaluable break with our families, we will be continuing our preparation for the 2022 legislative session — when we will be showing up every day for you and yours.
Thank you again for trusting us with that responsibility, year in and year out.
Honoring Indigenous heritage and communities every month
Throughout November, we have been celebrating Native American Heritage Month. The month may be nearing a close, but it does not mean that recognition and celebration of Indigenous heritage should be reserved just for this time. While we recognize that what we have provided has not and cannot fully encapsulate any singular Indigenous experience, we hope that you have learned something about the land you live on, and of the others who lived there before you and who continue to live there now. In the same way that you continue to support us, we urge you to support and give to organizations with missions that center and uplift Native and Indigenous communities in Colorado this year through culturally responsive action. Now, as we go on a brief break, we encourage you to reflect on the history and meaning of Thanksgiving, especially for those descendants of the original inhabitants of what we now call the U.S.
Thank you again for your support. Stay well and stay safe through the rest of November.
