This week the Children’s Campaign was proud to join Gov. Jared Polis, lawmakers and advocates at several bill signing ceremonies. On Tuesday, we joined educators and children at Stedman Elementary in Denver to celebrate the signing of the full-day kindergarten bill. Thank you again to Gov. Polis, the bill sponsors, and the Full-Day Kindergarten Now Coalition for making this a reality for all Colorado families.

Yesterday we also attended the signing ceremonies for HB 19-1239 to ensure all Coloradans are counted in the 2020 Census, and for SB 19-228 to help prevent substance abuse disorders and mitigate their impact on Colorado children and families. We’re grateful to all the champions for these efforts who made their success possible!
