The return of The West Steps, introducing “Reimagining early childhood: Conversations on early care and education in Colorado”

Mark your calendars for Nov. 29, when we will begin releasing each of our five episodes for our new West Steps podcast miniseries throughout the week. Each conversation features guests who have firsthand experiences and perspectives on the early childhood system in Colorado, making this miniseries a must-listen for all those interested in the new Colorado Department of Early Childhood.

This miniseries comes as a result of the passage of HB 21-1304, which has provided a historic opportunity for our state to reimagine our existing early childhood system. As the transition to the new department continues, it is crucial that those involved in the implementation and planning process elevate community voice and leadership – and this podcast does just that.

Be sure to subscribe to The West Steps today, so you can stay plugged in to all the policies and politics that come out of the Colorado State Capitol this upcoming legislative session. The West Steps is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever else you get your podcasts.
