The Colorado Children’s Campaign has signed on to a letter from The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights alongside 90 other civil rights and education organizations across the country urging our members of Congress to support the Counseling Not Criminalization in Schools Act, Keeping All Students Safe Act, Protecting our Students in Schools Act, Safe Schools Improvement Act, and Ending PUSHOUT Act. This suite of school climate bills advances the strategies which we know promote a positive, safe, and supportive school climate that helps students thrive.

You can join us in urging Congress to make these important improvements to schools, keeping our kids safe and supporting their educational success and their mental and emotional well-being. Click here to send a letter to your representatives. The Children‘s Campaign has also been convening a coalition of local advocates committed to advancing positive learning environments here in Colorado. If you are interested in learning more about, or joining the School Climate Coalition, please reach out to our Vice President of K-12 Initiatives, Leslie Colwell, at [email protected].
