Shawna Mounsey is our new Development Director!

Please join us in welcoming Shawna Mounsey to the Children’s Campaign team! As the new Director of our Development team, Shawna will create and lead our annual fund development, guide donor stewardship, oversee all fundraising activities including special events, managing grants, and advance relationships with funders. With the Connection Reception just around the corner in September, we are thrilled to have Shawna’s expertise and leadership as we continue planning our first large in-person event since 2019. 

Raised in Denver and a Cherry Creek High School alum, Shawna holds a B.S. in Communications (Mass Media emphasis) from the University of San Diego and a M.S. in Communications from the University of Colorado-Denver. Prior to coming to the Children’s Campaign, Shawna worked for other Colorado non-profits including Junior Achievement and Minds Matter Colorado.  

Our staff and board are thrilled to welcome Shawna to our team as she enriches our widespread development strategies, relationships, and events. Welcome, Shawna!
