Please join us in congratulating Riley Kitts as our new Sr. Director of Policy and Government Affairs! In this new role, Riley will continue his responsibilities as our Government Affairs director, while also supervising the Policy and Advocacy teams.   After serving as our Government Affairs Director for the past four years, we are excited to have Riley bring his experience and passion for our mission into this new position.

Riley has spent several years in Colorado politics, working both inside and out of the State Capitol. Some of Riley’s proudest legislative accomplishments include the passage of free, full-day kindergarten, expansions in health insurance access for kids and pregnant folks, improving systems that serve Colorado families with low incomes, and the establishment of Universal Pre-K and the new Department of Early Childhood.  Riley has been an impactful and collaborative team player working across the organization and with partner groups. His commitment to our mission, passion for centering equity in our work, and prior supervision experience will be critical as we advance our new strategic framework.
