Raise Colorado LogoOn Thursday, Raise Colorado coalition leaders formally introduced themselves and the work they do, advocating on issues affecting expecting families, pregnant people, infants and toddlers by hand delivering 100 succulents in baby-themed planters to every Colorado legislator. The formal announcement ensures legislators know that Raise Colorado is a dynamic leader in this space who will be returning in future legislative sessions with community driven policy opportunities that they can help lift up through collaboration and sponsorship. The Raise Colorado coalition is co-convened by the Colorado Children’s Campaign, Clayton Early Learning, and a group of diverse stakeholders including the Denver Chapter of the Black Child Development Institute, the Early Childhood Council of Larimer County, Families Forward Resource Center, Grand Beginnings, Guerrilla Mamas, Roots Family Center, and Parent Possible. Stay up-to-date with Raise Colorado by following them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
