This week the Kindergarten NOW Coalition hosted parents, advocates and educators at the Capitol to push full-day kindergarten legislation over the finish line. We tracked down legislators in halls and offices, and joined Gov. Jared Polis in a mini-rally in the West Foyer, along with bill sponsors Rep. Barbara McLachlan, Rep. Jim Wilson and Sen. Jeff Bridges.

You can view and download/repost photos of the day here and see some of the day’s successes on social media using the hashtag #fulldayK. We will have a short video to share on social media soon as well.

The next step is the bill’s first hearing, which is scheduled for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Help us keep up the momentum by reaching out to your legislators using our system, and click here for sample social media to share with your networks. You can learn more at www.fulldayk.co.
