Diaper Need Awareness Week starts Sept. 27! According to WeeCycle, more than 67,000 babies and toddlers in Colorado experience diaper need, meaning they lack access to enough diapers needed to keep a baby or toddler clean, safe and healthy.

Since March 2020, WeeCycle has distributed 1,984,270 diapers, 5,092,755 baby wipes, and 99,780 formula/baby food items. They have served an estimated 64,103 children in Colorado through a network of over 50 partner organizations and 49 mobile market locations in resource deficient neighborhoods throughout Denver and its surrounding areas. In honor of Diaper Need Awareness Week, WeeCycle is requesting donations of diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula; and encouraging community members to host their own diaper drives.

In-person donations to WeeCycle can be dropped off:

  • On Tuesdays from 9 -11 a.m., or Thursdays from noon to 2 p.m. at 20 S. Havana St. #210 (the second building off of Havana St. Pull around back and look for the collection area and staff to help you unload).
  • Anytime at 8279 W. 69th Way, Arvada, CO 80004 (donations can be dropped to the right of the garage, any time of day).

You can also donate online through WeeCycle’s Amazon Registry.

Sign up to host your own drive here!
