This week, the U.S. Census Bureau’s Statistics in Schools (SIS) program released four online instructional toolkits for different levels of remote learners and parents to engage with at home. Explore the new SIS resources below:

The online toolkits make great supplements to a student’s remote learning material, as they focus on the importance of data and data collection while also emphasizing literacy skills and incorporating history and geography content.

And if you have not submitted your household’s 2020 Census form yet, be sure to do so! Counting every single Coloradan is essential to ensuring we receive the appropriate federal dollars for child care, education and health care resources over the next decade. Currently, 1.6 million households in Colorado have submitted their forms, a response rate of 61.8 percent which ranks our state 17th in the nation. You can complete your household’s questionnaire online or by phone regardless of whether you have received an invitation to respond yet—all you need is your home address!
