Please join the Council for a Strong America Colorado and the Raise Colorado coalition for a timely conversation on the state of infant and toddler child care in Colorado via the newly released report: “Want to Grow Colorado’s Economy? Fix the Child Care Crisis.” As trusted community leaders, we want to work with you to build a child care system that works for everyone in our state—because Colorado can’t get back to work unless child care does. Join us for a panel conversation on Wednesday, May 13 from 1:00-2:30 PM to hear from representatives from the business community across the state on how our families, the child care workforce, and our economy are being impacted by child care issues, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. As Colorado works to get back up and running, we are eager to talk about building a child care system that enables Colorado not only to recover but to flourish. Please register in advance for this meeting using this link: After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Colorado needs all of us as champions and advocates to speak up on behalf of infants, toddlers, families, and our child care workforce to call attention to the crucial role child care plays in our state’s economic recovery. Council for a Stronger America Colorado and Raise Colorado are asking that early childhood advocates share this upcoming opportunity with local policy and decision-makers to help them learn more about the state of child care in our Colorado, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider sharing the invitation with local and state policymakers and other community leaders along with a note of how the issue is impacting your community.
