HCPF recruiting Colorado Medicaid members for community ambassador program
The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF), which administers Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program), is working with communities across Colorado to create a Community Ambassador Program. The goal of this program is to work with Colorado Medicaid members to improve HCPF’s written communication to Health First Colorado members. Ambassadors will help lead interviews and focus groups, gather information on best practices for communicating with Medicaid members, share guidance for policies and programs, and provide important information to Health First Colorado potential and current members.
The department is initially focusing on Spanish and Vietnamese-speaking communities. Ambassadors will be paid an hourly wage and receive training and support from HCPF. For more information, contact Lee Repasch at lrepasch@healthmanagement.com or Kelsey Moore at kelseymoore@healthmanagement.com.
