In 2020, there were 4.8 infant deaths per 1,000 live births in Colorado, representing 294 infants who tragically passed away in their first year of life. Colorado’s infant mortality rate has nearly been cut in half over the last three decades, yet rates in the U.S. remain much higher than those of other developed nations as of 2014.
