In the fall of the 2020-2021 school year, 12.9 percent of Colorado’s students in PK-12th grade were identified as English Language Learners (ELL students). ELL students made up more than one third of students in Adams-Arapahoe and Center 26 school districts, and close to half of students in Adams 14. However, given the decreased enrollment in Colorado’s public schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of these figures are likely underestimates of the true population. To learn more about ELL enrollment over time in your county or school district, please visit the KIDS COUNT Data Center.
