In 2021, the median household income in Colorado rose to $82,228. Economic prosperity, however, continues to vary significantly across the state. In 2021, median household income ranged from $35,416 in Costilla County to $129,839 in Douglas County. Understanding disparities in income and poverty across the state is especially important as we continue addressing the economic impacts and recovery related to COVID-19‘s disruptions.
