In 2016, 81 percent of births in Colorado were to mothers who had received prenatal care in the first trimester of their pregnancy, an increase from 79 percent in 2010. Early prenatal care gives mothers information on having a healthy pregnancy and promotes the health of both mother and child. To find data on early prenatal care births in specific counties last year, please visit the KIDS COUNT Data Center.
