Early childhood educators and mental health consultants in Colorado can now apply to receive up to $5,000 in federal student loan forgiveness. Applications are now open until June 15, and priority will be given to bilingual professionals and those early in their career. This two-year program is a partnership between the Office of Early Childhood, Colorado Department of Human Services, and the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Applicants must re-apply annually.

In addition, early childhood professionals can access financial wellness support, assistance navigating the program, and counseling to find student loan repayment strategies. These free services will be available to up to 3,000 applicants. Apply here, or visit CDHE’s website to learn more. Email [email protected] with any questions.
