Don’t forget to vote YES on Caring for Denver–Initiative 301!

As we noted earlier this summer, the Colorado Children’s Campaign is supporting a ballot measure that could drastically improve mental health and addiction services in Denver. Vote yes on Caring 4 Denver, Initiated Ordinance 301.

Spearheaded by State Rep. Leslie Herod, Caring 4 Denver will raise $45 million annually through a sales tax of just 25 cents on every $100 purchase, similar to the mechanism that supports the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, which funds arts and culture in Metro Denver.

We know mental health conditions and substance use disorders jeopardize the lives and wellbeing of many Colorado families. This initiative is an opportunity to remove barriers and increase access to needed services and trainings. We have the #PowerTo change lives.
