The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS)’s Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) is currently in the process of forming a Behavioral Health Administration Advisory Council (BHAAC). The BHA invites Coloradans with lived experience in the behavioral health space to co-create and inform the BHA’s strategic plan and vision. The members of the BHAAC will play an important role in ensuring there is public accountability and transparency in the BHA’s public-facing activities, including its data dashboards.

The BHAAC is accepting applications through June 11. The BHA commissioner will appoint approximately 15-20 members from the applications received, with the prioritized majority of the council representing individuals or members of families with lived behavioral health experience.
