beWell Block Captain workshop opportunities in October

Join the beWell Health and Wellness Initiative of The Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities for a training series, Breaking Through Poverty of Spirit, throughout the month of October. 

Workshop session topics include: 

  • Health & Racial Equity: The be well Way 
  • Chronic Disease and Prevention; Physical Fitness & Nutrition 
  • Healthy Practices: Physical Fitness & Nutrition 
  • Building Healthy Communities: Built Environment & Transportation 
  • Education and Economic Growth 
  • Housing Equity: Rethinking Housing and Community Development  
  • Race and Justice 
  • Where do we go from here?           

Training sessions will be held at the offices of The Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities from 6-8:30pm and dinner will be served at 5:30pm. You can see the offerings held on each date in October in the attached flyer. Register for the trainings here.
