Apply now for the Educator Loan Forgiveness Program

The Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) is accepting applications for its Educator Loan Forgiveness Program. This program is funded for five years and will grant up to $5,000 annually to teachers in rural districts or in positions that historically attract fewer educators. Applicants must have a valid Colorado teaching license to apply. 

To access the application, participants must first fill out an interest survey which will then direct them to the online portal. All applications must be submitted by Jan. 15, and CDHE will notify applicants of their program status within 60 days from the close of the application.
