Summary

This bill is contingent upon the passage of HB 16-1420 (Hospital Provider Fee), and would establish guardrails for the allocation of state revenue that would be made available if the Hospital Provider Fee is established as an enterprise fund and removed from the state’s revenue limitation calculation.

Position

The Children’s Campaign supports this proposal, which would direct additional state revenue to fund K-12 education, higher education, transportation, and restore severance tax transfers.
