Commitment

Colorado Children’s Campaign is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of this website and in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

Scope

This statement applies to the website coloradokids.org, excluding any subdomains.

Guidelines and Standards

Colorado Children’s Campaign aims for our website to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2 AA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to as many people as possible. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly for all people.

This website is developed and tested against the last two versions of every major web browser (excluding IE 10) using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS, in order to maintain compatibility with future versions of web browsers.

Known Issues

Some text (black on green) doesn’t meet the colour contrast ratio of 4.5
The PDFs used on this website are not completely accessible for screen readers yet

We are actively working on fixing these issues.
