Megan Ives

Title: Senior Policy Analyst

Megan works as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Children’s Campaign. In this role, she supports policy analysis, coalition development, community engagement, and advocacy to advance the Children’s Campaign’s youth success and family economic prosperity agendas. Prior, Megan worked in a multitude of organizing, legislative, and research roles centered around advancing justice through systems-change. These roles include experience in immigrant rights, youth education, affordable housing, civil rights protections, and criminal justice. She served as an Americorps member at Skinner Middle School in Denver, and also as the Legislative Aide to Rep. Leslie Herod in 2020. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder where she also captained the women’s ultimate frisbee team.
