As a member of the Development Team, Joy manages the process of developing and submitting our grant applications and reports and contributes to donor stewardship activities.  She also coordinates the organization’s internal evaluation efforts.  A Colorado native, Joy earned  undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder.  After beginning her career as an attorney, her focus since 1991 has been advancing the work of nonprofits, higher education institutions and government agencies as a grant writer, technical writer and policy analyst.  Following 20 years as a self-employed consultant, Joy initially joined the Children’s Campaign in 2012 and reunited with the organization in 2017 after a brief hiatus.
