The Colorado Children's Campaign is the leading voice for Colorado’s nearly 1.2 million children. Through our research and advocacy expertise, we work to increase access to health coverage for kids; increase access to quality child care and early education opportunities for working families; reduce the state’s dropout rate and improve the quality of K-12 education; and improve the state’s ability to respond to children’s needs appropriately through fiscal reforms.

Right now, the Children’s Campaign is focused on continuing to build on the strengths of our 25 year foundation and the important work that is ahead. For example, while the 2009 legislative session was one of the most economically challenging in our state’s history, we were able to achieve several significant victories and protect some of the most critical programs and services for kids – especially those most at risk. We will soon be releasing our annual KidsCount in Colorado! report, providing a county-by-county look at the well-being of our children.

Our track record over the last two decades is proven. With compelling, solid data in one hand and unrivaled expertise and passionate advocacy skills in the other, we influence and encourage decision makers to invest in programs that benefit both our children and our state. We look forward to working with our partners as we embark on the next 25 years of creating hope and opportunity, more than one million children at a time.
