If you are interested in another opportunity to speak out for health care , consider Health Care Day of Action on Thursday February 16. Our colleagues at Colorado Consumer Health Initiative agree that family health care decisions are too important to be left solely to others, so they invite you to get involved!
Because children can’t vote or lobby for the causes that impact them, it’s critical that people who care about kids use their voices to advocate on behalf of Colorado’s kids. If you want to learn more about speaking up on behalf of kids and their health, join the Children's Campaign and Children's Hospital Colorado for this great event. We'll start with a discussion at the Children’s Campaign’s offices focused on pending bills that would impact kids, how the state legislature functions and how you can ensure kids are a top priority. Then we'll go to the Capitol so you can put the information to use directly with your elected officials. Your voice matters because decisions about your child’s health are too important to be left solely to others.
Your children are welcome to attend the event with you! Our agenda includes kid-friendly activities to engage them while you participate in the discussion. This free event includes breakfast and lunch.
Even if you can only attend a portion of Speak Up for Kids’ Health at the Capitol, we would love your participation.
