ABOUT US

MISSION: The Colorado Children's Campaign works to create hope and opportunity in Colorado, more than one million kids at a time.

The Colorado Children’s Campaign is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization committed for over 25 years to creating hope and opportunity for all of Colorado’s more than 1.2 million kids. Using the most accurate, compelling data and research on child well-being and backed by an extensive, statewide network of dedicated child advocates, the Children’s Campaign champions policies and programs that improve child health, early childhood experiences, and K-12 education, help lift children out of poverty and provide all of Colorado’s children the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Specifically, we work to ensure all of Colorado’s kids have access to:

• High-quality and affordable health care and the healthy food and environments they need to grow up strong.

• High-quality and affordable early childhood care and education, so they can start school ready to learn.

• High-quality K-12 education they need to graduate from high school, prepared for success in higher education, the workforce, and life.

As the leading voice for Colorado’s children at the state Capitol and in communities across the state, the Children’s Campaign has been at the forefront of hundreds of policy wins for kids. Among the numerous laws and programs we’ve helped establish are the Colorado Preschool Program, Child Health Plan Plus, and the Great Teachers and Leaders Law.
